Over the summer, B&Bs that don't have a pool or outdoor space, sometimes forego slippers as an in-room amenity but come Fall, guests often request the comfy slip-on make its way into their rooms ... particularly as temperatures drop and bathroom floors seem extra chilly. Similarly, spas tell us guests tend to bring their own sandals but when the season changes, so do guest expectations.
Choosing the right slipper for your inn or spa can be a lot of fun and relatively easy.
First decide if you'd like closed toe or open toe slippers. Presumably you'll want non-slip slippers - all of our slippers at Berkshire Amenities feature a non-slip sole. Next, choose your materials: Chamois, velour, waffle or terry.
Chamois will be the warmest since it has a fleece lining. Open-toe will incorporate a small, breezy, tip. Velour and terry are the most popular fabric for slippers and robes year-round; waffle is know to be light, comfortable, and airy. Before you choose, take a look at your robes and see which style and fabric would work best for your particular property. Can't decide? We're here to help. PS - Remember to get a bath mat to also help temper that chilly floor!
