One of our Valued Customers - World-Class Experience in the Heart of the Hamptons
Owners of Butler's Manor Bed and Breakfast Chris and Kim Allen
Ahh, the Hamptons. To enhance your visit to the coastal playground of the well-to-do, A Butler's Manor Bed and Breakfast, in the historic Southampton Village, will elevate your stay to world-class. Owners Chris and Kim Allen provide top-notch service in a warm, hospitable setting. “We aim for a guest experience that is akin to staying with friends who know how to give you your own space,” says Kim.
Thirty years ago, they dreamed about owning a B&B. Chris had a service background – he actually was a British butler, and Kim loved having company stay. Back then, they attended a class for aspiring B&B owners, which helped sort reality from romance. They opened A Butler’s Manor fifteen years later.
The five-room property is perfect for a getaway. The timeless appeal of this beautifully maintained 1860 Colonial house features a spectacular English garden on 3/4 of an acre that surrounds a full sized, saltwater pool. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a glass of champagne, not to mention tea and homemade cookies in the afternoon, and wine at happy hour – compliments of your hosts. Uniquely decorated guest rooms feature a private bathroom, fresh flowers, luxurious linens and toiletries, deluxe bathrobe, and many amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel.
Your complimentary full, two-course breakfast is a culinary event. Served on fine china and crystal, begin with fresh fruit with homemade bread, muffins, or scones and fresh-squeezed orange juice. A gourmet hot entrée follows. Banana-Stuffed French Toast, Chicken Sausage Frittata, and Zucchini-Cheddar Blintz, are some guest favorites. Kim, who has about 200 breakfast recipes, accommodates dietary restrictions with prior notice. Her cookbook, which contains about 50 recipes, is available for purchase at the Manor.
